Using 'Should' Instead of Taking Action

Updated: Feb 16, 2019

Should've. Could've. Would've

We’ve all done it.

You know you do it.

“ I really should eat better.”

“ I really should exercise more.”

“ I really should get more sleep.”

“I really should spend less time with…”

“I really should…..”

And then of course you don't.

You say “ I really should”.....

Because you are disconnected from your internal power source.

Because you’ve forgotten that you are worthy and you do matter.

Because you feel you are not enough as you are.

Because you are listening to others and have switched off from your intuition.

Because you are afraid of what listening to your intuition might actually mean for you.

Because your fear is greater than your desire.

Because you know how magical and powerful and awesome you really are and that scares the shit out of you.

Because you are using it as an excuse to not move forward.

Because it means taking responsibility for that which you would rather keep hidden in the dark.

Because it requires you to really asses the things in your life that aren’t working and then make an active decision about it.

Because it means looking at those emotions you’ve buried and dealing with them.

Because it might mean upsetting other’s and their plans for you.

Because it means……

.

When you go down the path of saying….” I really should…….” this is what you actually mean.

I can’t.

I won’t.

Such a pity, because in truth you SHOULD be saying….

I am.

I am connected to my internal power source.

I am worthy and fuck yeah I matter.

I am more than enough.

I am in tune with my amazing intuition.

I am excited by what my intuition will guide me towards.

I am fabulously fearless.

I am amazingly awesome.

I am boldly moving forward.

I am brave enough to take responsibility.

I am expelling, extracting and eliminating old emotions.

I am looking out for me.

I am…..

Now go out there and do what you came here to do!

And if you need some additional support motivating yourself into the state of mind of I Am, I have a powerful and quick 10 min meditation you can kick start your day with.

Aptly named, I AM, it's available for download on the website shop.
